CORE VALUES

Sanchez Amador & Reyes is guided by three core values: providing the highest quality legal services; maintaining the highest levels of professional integrity; and delivering extraordinary client service.

Quality

To us, high-quality legal services means impeccable work product, whether it be a trial brief, motion for summary judgment, credit agreement, software as a service agreement, or written legal guidance and analysis. Quality means understanding our clients’ business objectives and unique industry and regulatory challenges so that our advice is practical and well-informed. It means expert knowledge and staying on top of case law, statutory developments, and industry trends in our core practice areas. Above all, quality is finding the most cost-effective solution to even the most complex challenges. To ensure the highest quality legal services, we provide intensive training to our associates. Each time a litigation associate takes a deposition, a partner walks her through the transcript—what was done well or could be done better—without charge to the client. Every motion gets an extra read-through by another lawyer, without charge. Litigation associates are regularly coached on trial skills because knowing how to try a case well makes for superior lawyering in the day-to-day work that wins most cases. Our transactions associates are steeped in a firm culture that emphasizes precision in drafting, attention to detail, practicality, and the importance of understanding the purpose of every clause in a contract. With close partner supervision and guidance on each deal, our transactions associates develop the skills to handle clients’ finance and technology transactions skillfully and efficiently.

Integrity

Sanchez Amador & Reyes is AV ® Peer-Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell—the highest rating for ethics and legal ability. Multiple organizations have lauded our attorneys for their integrity and leadership in the profession. Our reputation for integrity is our most valued asset. While important to us personally, it also serves our clients’ interests because judges, arbitrators, and opposing counsel all know they can take us at our word.

Client Service

Many of our lawyers have in-house experience, so we understand that communication and practical advice are just as important as results. We keep our clients fully informed on what is happening and why, so clients are never surprised and never need to chase down updates or question a bill. When clients ask for our advice, they get expert, actionable guidance, not a lot of caveats and hedging. We do not send memos to clients unless requested. We turn away work outside of our core strengths to remain focused on efficiently delivering superior results to our clients.

Client Service standards are critically important to every attorney and staff member at Sanchez Amador & Reyes. Each understands the importance of keeping clients timely apprised of developments in their matters. Upon hiring, every employee meets with a firm partner to discuss the Client Service Standards that govern our practice.

Sanchez Amador & Reyes’ clients include Fortune 500 companies, multi-national and regional banks and other financial institutions, and middle-market companies in the technology, healthcare, entertainment, manufacturing, engineering, and other industries. We are very proud of the consistent retention level of our client base.
